A Napa Valley Education Conference for Family Caregivers and Professionals
Collabria Care in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association and Senior Helpers presents its eighth annual Napa Valley education conference. Teepa is one of the leading educators on dementia care. This Conference, tailored to family caregivers and professionals, is presented by Teepa Snow who is dedicated to providing education and caregiver support. Teepa Snow is an occupational therapist working as a dementia care and education specialist. She has over 30 years of clinical experience in the field of geriatrics and dementia care. This all-day education conference is designed to provide practical ways to recognize the presence of Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia, as well as understand its progression that effect caregiving. Techniques will be offered on how to modify support, care, and the environment in order to optimize care for the person with the diagnosis. The Conference will be very interactive with the goal of providing knowledge, skills and attitudes that will change daily outcomes of care.
