We are here for you from serious illness through the end of life

Information & Assistance (I&A) is a community-wide resource which supports seniors by connecting with them with local support services to help maintain their long-term independence. This includes providing housing support, caregiving resources, options for transportation services, and information regarding food access.

Thanks to generous donations from our local community, La Bohème, our resale shop, and Act Two, our thrift store, provide a fun and surprising shopping experience with treasures that are one-of-a-kind, from art, silverware, and fashion to everyday housewares, toys, and rugs. Purchases support our community programs.

The death of a loved one is often followed by a period of grief where you can experience the severe pain of loss, sadness, depression, and sometimes unexpected emotions and behaviors. For some, there is an immediate onset of grief; for others it can be delayed. While the grief experience is unique to each person, there are techniques and strategies to help you navigate through this difficult time.

While socialization is vital to mental health for everyone, it’s especially helpful as we age, as it can help prevent mental decline and lower the risk of dementia. Our Mind Boosters program is a community program for those who may be in the early stages of memory loss and those who want to be proactive in protecting their brain health.

Caregivers often suffer from exhaustion, loneliness, isolation, and depression, especially when caring for a loved one with a long-term or chronic illness such as Alzheimer’s disease. The situation can be exasperated by financial difficulties, work and family obligations, and unexpected events like the COVID pandemic. We’re here to help.

Are you or a loved one facing one of these issues?

Our team of professionals will provide you with exceptional healthcare, expert resources, and compassionate support as you navigate the challenges of living with a serious illness, Alzheimer's disease, or another form of dementia. We know how to help you find your way.
