The Foundation Board plays many critical roles in the management of the foundation; chief among them ensuring that all donations, large and small, are applied to projects and services that have the most impact in our community.
This month, we’d like to introduce Board Member Lynne Hobaugh.
Why have you chosen to be a Board Member?
Serving my community is important to me. I choose Providence Community Health Foundation as a way to help those who are going through experiences similar to me. It’s sometimes nice to know we, as a community, are here to help one another. That’s what makes our Napa County community so special.
Since joining the Board, what are you most proud of?
By far, the work we do for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia and their caregivers and loved ones.
Tells us something most people don’t know about you?
I have an amazing singing voice, but I hide it by singing off key as loud as possible. Ok maybe that’s not true. However, I did have two pet snakes at different times; one named Black Foot who was a King snake and the other Precious who was a Burmese Python.
