Welcoming Lynne Hobaugh – Our Foundation Board Chair

Lynne Hobaugh

A Lifelong Napa Resident Deeply Rooted in the Community

Providence Community Health Foundation Napa Valley is pleased to announce that Lynne Hobaugh has assumed the role of Board Chair. A longtime Napa resident, Lynne moved to Napa in 1976, where she attended Redwood Middle School and Vintage High School before heading to San Jose State University for college.

With degrees in Public Relations, Psychology and Interior Design, Lynne is a highly respected Interior Designer and Project Manager, specializing in residential homes throughout Napa Valley, California and beyond.

Leadership and Legacy: Lynne’s Impact on Local Healthcare Foundations

Since joining the Foundation’s Board in January 2020, Lynne has demonstrated remarkable leadership and a steadfast dedication to community service. Her previous roles include serving as Vice Chair (2024–2025) and Gala Chair (2020–2021). Prior to joining our Foundation, Lynne contributed her expertise for nine years to the Board of Director’s at Providence Queen of the Valley Foundation, where she chaired annual fundraising initiatives such as Reach for the Stars and Day for the Queen.

A Personal Connection to Compassionate Care

Lynne’s commitment to compassionate healthcare is deeply personal. Her inspiration to join the Board came after her family’s experience with hospice care for her step-father. More recently, her connection deepened when she received support through our Alzheimer’s & Dementia Resource Center after her mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

“As my three adult sons and I were navigating how best to support my mom, the team from Providence Community Health Napa Valley was there. I know firsthand how difficult it is to care for someone with this disease, and the difference these supportive services can make. I want to do what I can to ensure that we’re able to help others in this position. My family and I will always be indebted to this organization that I’m so proud to be a Board Member of,” states Lynne.

“I am truly excited to continue working alongside Lynne on the Foundation Board,” shares Jennifer McConnehey, Director of Philanthropy for the Foundation. “Her enthusiastic leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to our mission inspire everyone around her. Lynne’s dedication makes a tremendous difference in the lives of those we serve, and I am grateful to have such an outstanding partner in our work.”

A Vision for the Foundation’s Future

As Board Chair, Lynne will lead the Foundation in responding to increasing community needs, with a commitment to sustaining and expanding vital community support programs and resources for families facing challenging emotional and medical circumstances.
