Take Charge classes are supported by donations made to the Providence Community Health Foundation Napa Valley and the Napa/Solano Area Agency on Aging Family Caregiver Support Services.
Take Charge is a therapeutic, classroom-based program for community members in the early stages of memory loss who have difficulty with new information or routine changes and want to improve their overall health.
Like our other courses, Take Charge focuses on the important areas for brain health: staying active, eating well, challenging your mind, connecting with others, and finding meaning and balance in life.
By joining the program, you'll learn up-to-date scientifically proven ways to improve attention, memory, energy, and well-being—practicing skills like paying attention, thinking quickly, multitasking, and reasoning.
Take part in group activities that help you think better and connect with the people in the class while learning creative activities and memory tricks.
It's a chance to learn together.
