JUNE 16: BUILDING BRIDGES: END-OF-LIFE CARE THROUGH A CULTURAL LENS
Co-sponsored by the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California

California is one of the most diverse states in the country, home to the nation’s highest nonwhite, foreign-born and mixed-race populations.
The goals of this training are to help you:

1.) Compare and contrast the culture of health care and the culture of end-of-life care.
2.) Discuss the prominent cultural features of your work environment and how these relate to end-of-life care.
3.) Define cultural competency, cultural humility, and cultural dignity in the context of health care.
4.) Critique your own cultural biases.
