Flowers of Love

Simone Moultak brings her talent to floristry

For many years, a local group lovingly placed flowers in coffee mugs and left them in our lobby for volunteers and staff to deliver to hospice patients. When that group could no longer continue, our hospice volunteers stepped up without missing a beat.

Now, every Sunday morning, a dedicated volunteer picks up donated flowers from a local grocery store. On Monday mornings, 3–4 volunteers gather at the office to arrange them into cheerful mug bouquets, ready to brighten a patient’s day. The arrangements are then distributed to hospice patients and participants in our PACE and Adult Day Health programs.

This simple act of kindness lives on because of you — and we’re always in need of coffee mugs! If you have any unneeded or unused mugs, please consider donating them to support the Flower Project.
