Understanding Dementia Behavior
Facilitated by: Alexis Glidewell, LCSW
It Takes Two is a popular workshop for family caregivers who care for a person with dementia. By attending this four-session workshop, caregivers will learn how to increase their abilities to:
- Identify what they can and cannot change
- Understand, communicate, and remain “connected” with their loved ones
- Understand and modify troublesome dementia behavior
- Gain the participation and cooperation of a loved one while assisting in activities of daily living
