We are delighted to announce that Robin and Michelle Baggett of Alpha Omega will serve as the honorary chairs for the 17th annual benefit Gala at Castello di Amorosa on September 8, 2023. This year’s social event, with the theme Reflect & Rejoice, will celebrate the Alpha Omega duo's significant philanthropic commitment to Napa Valley.

For the past 16 years, the Reflect & Rejoice Gala has been a highly anticipated event in Napa Valley, raising essential funds for the organization’s vital services. The Gala evening will feature a live auction led by “World’s Greatest Charity Auctioneer,” John Curley, and showcase exciting offerings from supporters across Napa Valley and beyond. During the live auction, guests will have the opportunity to raise their paddle and "fund-a-need" to support the Foundation's work throughout Napa County. The Foundation Board feels truly privileged to have Robin and Michelle Baggett serve as the gala honorary chairs.

"Robin and I are thrilled to be honorary chairs for this critically important event to support care and education for those facing a serious illness, Alzheimer’s, or the end of life,” says Michelle Baggett. “The Reflect & Rejoice Gala is a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the compassionate care provided by the organization for over 40 years and rejoice in the opportunity we have to join with our community to ensure these vital services are available to those in need.”

The Baggett’s actively support charities which focus on children’s education, medical technology, and the community. Robin, a former chair of the Napa Valley Vintners Board, is currently an Advisor and serves on multiple philanthropic committees. Michelle, as CEO of the Alpha Omega Foundation, promotes charitable giving among Napa Valley's future leaders. She is known for designing successful auction lots and serves on various boards. Together, Robin and Michelle were honored as the 2011 V Foundation Wine Celebration Vintner Grant Honorees.

The annual benefit Gala, the nonprofit agency's largest fundraising event with over 200 community members in attendance, will kick off with a dinner catered by fine-dining caterer Tre Posti, known for their exceptional menus blending authentic Italian fare with fresh, local ingredients from nearby farms and purveyors.

The online auction open to all will take place during the Gala week featuring an array of items such as one-of-a-kind travel experiences; magnums, verticals and cases of hard-to-find wine; dinners at premier wineries, restaurants, and exclusive locations; and luxurious spa days. Sponsorships are available to support and benefit the Foundation’s causes, including Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services, Adult Day Health, PACE, Palliative Care, Hospice Services, and Grief Support. Based on the level of sponsorship, sponsors receive Gala seats/tables, months of publicity, tax deductions, and special gifts in appreciation.

In the spirit of reflecting and rejoicing, the Baggetts now join an illustrious group of honorary chairs including Jean-Charles Boisset, Eileen Crane, Mary Cunningham Agee, Leslie and Rich Frank, Gina Gallo, Thomas Keller, Beth Nickel, Dario Sattui, Emma Swain, Clarke and Elizabeth Swanson, and the Torres and Rombauer families.
