SUMMARY:Connected Horse Workshop
DESCRIPTION:\nBased on research conducted at UC Davis and Stanford Universities, our Connected Horse workshops are designed to benefit people with memory changes or early-stage dementia and their care partners.\nNo prior experience with horses is necessary to participate. Participants will be engaging with horses from the ground, no riding.  All participants must be ambulatory and willing to participate together.\nThere is no fee to participate; however, donations are gratefully accepted.\nThree sessions meet on Tuesday mornings from 9:30am-12:00pm.\nDates: October 31, November 7 and 14*\n*an optional makeup day will be offered on November 21 in the event that another session is rained out.\nFor more information about upcoming workshops and to register, please contact Melissa Gerard at (707) 815-6258, or Melissa.Gerard@providence.org ( mailto:Melissa.Gerard@providence.org ).\n\n \n\n
